Nature of the Illumanesimo Project
Illumanesimo is an informal philosophical and cultural project. It is not a legal entity and has no formal organizational structure, legal representatives, or membership-based, political, or religious objectives.
It is not a religion, a sect, or a political movement. It offers arguments rather than dogmas, and a method of inquiry rather than a creed.
Voluntary Support
Support for Illumanesimo is entirely voluntary and free of charge. Anyone wishing to express intellectual support for the project may send a message to illumanesimo@gmail.com [impostare link mailto], stating their support for Illumanesimo as a philosophical and cultural project.
Such support creates no obligation, legal relationship, membership status, representative authority, or commitment of any kind. It grants no organizational, financial, or institutional rights and imposes no corresponding duties. Support may be withdrawn at any time without consequence.
Supporters are welcome to share and promote the Illumanesimo philosophical and cultural project — including its books, publications, and this website — through quotations, bibliographic references, and public discussion, with full respect for freedom of thought and the intellectual autonomy of the author.
Statement on Non-Religious Character
Illumanesimo is a speculative, epistemological, and existential philosophical proposal. It is not a religion, religious denomination, cult, dogmatic belief system, spiritual organization, or community of worship.
It prescribes no rituals, forms of worship, binding moral codes, structures of spiritual authority, or intermediaries between individuals and any transcendent reality.
All references to metaphysical, ontological, or spiritual concepts are philosophical and speculative in nature and belong exclusively to the sphere of free intellectual inquiry.
Supporting Illumanesimo entails no conversion, religious affiliation, or abandonment of any religious, spiritual, agnostic, or atheistic beliefs.
Statement on Political Neutrality
Illumanesimo is neither a political party nor a political movement. It does not promote political platforms, candidates, electoral campaigns, or partisan ideologies.
The ethical, social, and cultural reflections developed within the project are philosophical and analytical in nature. They do not constitute political propaganda, voting recommendations, or official institutional positions.
Illumanesimo maintains a position of political neutrality, respecting the plurality of political views and every individual’s freedom of conscience.
Statement on Scientific Orientation
Illumanesimo engages in critical dialogue with the sciences, philosophy, and the history of ideas, following the principles of rational inquiry, logical argumentation, and critical analysis.
The project does not endorse pseudoscience, unsupported beliefs, esoteric practices, or unverifiable claims presented as scientific fact.
Every metaphysical or ontological hypothesis is presented as philosophical speculation, open to criticism, possible refutation, interdisciplinary examination, and, where applicable, empirical investigation.
Illumanesimo encourages critical thinking, rational debate, dialogue with the scientific community, and respect for the principles of empirical and theoretical research.
