The Books of Illumanesimo

The books are available in Italian.

Illumanesimo presents itself through eight dedicated volumes: five foundational works, articulated in the universal foundations, the existential philosophy, and the research proposal, followed by three volumes of dialogue with the history of thought.

The Universal Foundations:             - l'Illumanesimo

                                                          - La Realtà

The Existential Philosophy:              - Esperienze

                                                          - Il senso di ogni vita

The Research Proposal                      - CEFA - Proposta di indagine

Illumanesimo in Dialogue                  - Metafisica necessaria

                                                            - Il filo d'oro della filosofia

                                                            - Oltre il nulla e la Gloria

L'Illumanesimo is the philosophical charter of the Illumanist proposal: the document that sets out its foundations and justifies its ambitions — toward a culture grounded in inner freedom, ethical responsibility, and awareness of meaning.

La Realtà — come non l'avete mai immaginata
(Reality — as you have never imagined it)

La Realtà is a philosophical work that sets out to overcome the long-standing dichotomy between physics and metaphysics, proposing a radical reformulation of our understanding of existence. A thorough examination of concepts such as Spirit, Reality, and God leads to a new constructive account of the Real.

Esperienze In viaggio verso il nuovo dentro il quadro della vita
(Experiences — Journeying toward the new within the frame of life)

With Esperienze, Illumanist philosophy enters its most concrete territory. The work investigates existential questions such as the meaning of life, the origin of the human being, and the nature of good and evil, bringing them together into an original theoretical system supported by a rigorous logical-deductive framework.

Il senso di ogni vita
(The meaning of every life)

Il senso di ogni vita is a compelling journey that begins with the conception of the body, the bond with the mother, and gestation; it then addresses the major challenges of growth and formation, with their existential implications for the adult individual, through to the rediscovery of the value of old age and the encounter with the end of life.

CEFA — proposta di indagine
(CEFA — a proposal for inquiry)

CEFA — proposta di indagine calls for interdisciplinary collaboration and a new level of scientific and philosophical curiosity, aiming to broaden research on consciousness by starting from entirely new hypotheses — no longer bound to proving its origin as a mere epiphenomenon of the brain. CEFA (Campo Energetico di Forze Autocoscienti — Energy Field of Self-Aware Forces) is the concept at the heart of this proposal. The work also puts forward concrete experimental protocols drawing on Gödel's theorems and Bayes' theorem.

Metafisica necessaria
(Necessary metaphysics)

Metafisica necessaria presents a rigorous dialogue between Illumanesimo and some of the leading contemporary Italian and European philosophers — Massimo Cacciari, Giorgio Agamben, Quentin Meillassoux, and Markus Gabriel — reaffirming with them the importance of metaphysics as a fundamental dimension of philosophical thought.

Il filo d'oro della filosofia
(The golden thread of philosophy)

Il filo d'oro della filosofia gathers eight essays that weave a close dialogue between Illumanesimo and the great traditions of Western thought. Socrates, Plato, Aristotle, Plotinus, Augustine, Aquinas, Kant, Hegel, Nietzsche, Heidegger, and the French existentialists are the protagonists of this confrontation — one that tests the coherence of this new philosophy against the questions that never cease to challenge us: What is reality? What is the meaning of existence? Where is philosophy headed?

To answer them, the book starts from a single conviction: philosophy can only go beyond itself, or it dies.

Oltre il nulla e la Gloria
(Beyond nothingness and Glory)

Oltre il nulla e la Gloria confronts two ways of thinking Being: that of Emanuele Severino — one of the most rigorous Italian metaphysicians of the twentieth century — for whom every being is eternal and becoming is a nihilistic illusion, and that of Illumanesimo, for which Being is an active foundation that emanates its own configurations and opens the space of freedom.

The book acknowledges what it learns from Severino — the radical rejection of nothingness — and at the same time shows what it offers him: a becoming without nihilism, understood as actualization, and CEFA as the real subject of appearing. Not a refutation, but a theorem proposed for discussion.
